July 8-19 2013, Autrans (Vercors, France)

This summer school is the closing event of the ANR project HamMark, an acronym for Hamiltonian and Markovian methods in the theory of open quantum systems. This project was in fact a natural sequel to the summer school on the same subject that we organized in Grenoble 10 years ago and which was followed by the publication of three volumes of lecture notes.

Unlike the 2003 summer school which was organized as a gentle introduction to the current research, starting from the basics of functional analysis, operator algebras and statistical mechanics, the aim of the Autrans school is to expose the youngest participants to the new developments that occurred in the last decade. It is organized around 5 topical sessions which coincide with the main objectives of the HamMark project.

Each session consists of two mini-courses and a number of related talks.
